Saskia Düsselberg is a contemporary artist based in the seaside town of Rye, Australia.
The daughter of two German sculptors, she left behind her career as a fashion designer to pursue her artistic calling in 2019. Saskia has participated in multiple group shows and is looking forward to presenting her first solo show on the beautiful Mornington peninsula.
Saskia loves creating texture through various processes and applying layers and depth, which at times echo her textile background. Shelikes to play with positive and negative elements, a dualistic dance that is harmonised through colour and shape, bringing polarities into unison. There is a lovely serene energy that comes through her work.
Saskia has sold works throughout Australia and internationally, she is represented by several Melbourne galleries. |
