I find inspiration in everyday observations –the ever changing palette of nature, from sunrises over the bay to snow in the high country, and everything in between.
Since moving to Rye on the Mornington Peninsula, my style has incorporated the abundant bird life in our backyard, and the lure of the ocean, and back beaches, which surround us. My style is spontaneous, quirky and colourful, with a modern contemporary feel.
With a background in Signwriting, Calligraphy Graphic design, and Visual Art, I try to fuse them all together in my work.
After running a successful Calligraphy business for many years, it seemed a natural progression to explore art in more depth.
I have exhibited in the following:
