ARTIST BIO

I have been painting for 15 years. Originally from the UK, we moved to Malta in 1997 and Melbourne in 2007 and now Blairgowrie. I have received training at the Victorian Artists Society in Melbourne and with the Melbourne watercolourist David Taylor. My acrylic painting has been aided by my friend, the artist Paul Amey from Oxford, UK. For the last 2/3 years since retirement we have been in Malta and Australia and are in Australia currently and would like to display for exhibitions this year. With my wife Lesley, we have been painting on and off most weeks en plein air with the Maltese watercolourist Jeni Caruana, which has included two art retreats in Milos, Greece and Marsala, Sicily. I paint mainly landscapes and particularly enjoy the geometric perspective of architecture.
